Sometimes an item will get scanned or added more times than you wanted. This usually happens when one of two things happen:
- There’s a hiccup in the store’s wi-fi signal at the time of scanning the item
- The camera locks in on a UPC of an item in your shopping cart and scans this again and again
While Shop Fetch has no control over the store’s internet quality, we have made an effort to improve the way products get scanned, to reduce these from happening.
To avoid the extra scans coming from items in your cart, either put your device into Sleep Mode between scans or flip your device over, so that the camera now faces either you or the ceiling.
